Compression Molding

A compression molding machine is a specialized type of equipment used to carry out the compression molding process. The machine typically consists of a hydraulic system, a heating system, and a mold.

The hydraulic system is used to apply pressure to the material in the mold. It usually includes a ram or plunger that presses down on the material to compress it into the desired shape. The hydraulic system is also responsible for opening and closing the mold.

The heating system is used to heat the material to its melting or softening point. The temperature and heating time required depend on the specific material being used and the desired properties of the final product.

The mold is the cavity into which the material is placed and compressed. The mold is typically made of steel and is designed to withstand the high pressure and temperature required for the process. The mold can be designed to produce a specific shape, size, and texture for the final product.
